Introduction
F1 RACING eINK API ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website. As an open-source project designed for the self-hosting community, we prioritize transparency and data minimization.
Data We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary for operation:
- Usage Data: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (like Umami) to understand traffic without tracking individuals.
- Error Tracking: We use GlitchTip to monitor stability and debug errors. This collects anonymous error stack traces and device info (OS, Browser) when a crash occurs. This data is anonymized where possible and used solely for fixing bugs.
- Local Storage: Preferences (such as language selection) are saved locally in your browser and never leave your device.
Third-Party Services
Our service may link to third-party websites (e.g., GitHub, Coolify). We possess no control over or responsibility for third-party content or privacy practices.
GDPR Compliance (EU Users)
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have certain data protection rights. As no user accounts or personal data are stored server-side (apart from technical logs), "Right to Erasure" and "Right to Portability" are generally not applicable. Contact us via GitHub if you have concerns.
Open Source
Our project is open-source under the MIT License. Review the codebase on GitHub for full transparency.
